Do you photography other types of sessions?

Yes! We focus primarily on newborns and maternity sessions, but we also love photographing families, couples and portraits. For more information regarding pricing and details, contact us!

Can family members join a newborn session?

Absolutely, even the family dog is welcome! Our main focus for a newborn session is the baby. However, if you would like to incorporate siblings, we can take several of those at the end of the session. Please just let us know ahead of time, so we can prepare accordingly.

Will I receive my pictures or is that an additional fee?

You will receive the digital files for your images at no extra fee. Additional images beyond the amount in the selected package can be purchased.

Where do you recommend printing images?

Our favorite place to print off pictures is Mpix. Unlike many other stores, Mpix does not alter the color on the pictures and the quality is wonderful. We highly recommend it!

When/how will I receive my images?

You should receive the pictures no later than two to three weeks following the session date. However, I typically post a sneak peak on my Facebook and Instagram pages a day or two later, so make sure you are following me for updates!

Images are delivered to your email and are accessed with a link for digital download.

Can I add my personal props?

Yes! Please do! We want you to incorporate personal items to make each session unique to your family. This could be a blanket that grandma crocheted or anything personal that has value to you and your family.

How long do newborn sessions take?

These sessions typically last 2-3 hours.

When should I feed the baby for the session?

It’s best to plan to feed the baby right before the session, so that the baby is extra sleepy. Don’t worry though if the baby is still awake when we get there. We’ll have a heater to keep the baby warm, and we recommend having a pacifier on hand.

We may have to take a feeding break half way through, and that’s totally expected. We get cranky when we’re hungry too. 🙂

What should I wear?

For the newborn session we bring a variety of colored wraps. If there is a certain color you prefer, please let us know ahead of time. We recommend that Mom and Dad wear solid colors to help the baby stand out. During the family pictures, we advise that the baby wear a white onesie or something neutral.
